Cooperstown

well....it's true!
Hey there dear reader! Do you happen to be a member of the Baseball Writer's Association of America? Really, you are? Fantastic!

Do Yeah, Buddy! a favor and vote in former Twins to the Hall of Fame:
Jack Morris--Game 7, 10-inning shut-out ... bitch;
Chuck Knoblach--notable (to me) because he is the only player whose name I knew when I saw my Twinkies win the Series at the tender age of 7; and
Bert Blyleven--we are still waiting for you to circle us!

Thanks! We appreciate it.

I would just like to point out the fantastic job done on the poster in the photo. Cheers to the artist responsible for that.

Blyleven by all means should be in. Morris is borderline, but I would vote for him. And would Twins fans be happy if Knoblauch somehow got in?

Completely unrelated, but did you ever see the article in the Pioneer Press by Charley Walters a month or so back when he talked about what the Twins would do if Hunter signed elsewhere?

"If Hunter signs with another team as a free agent, look for the Twins to trade, sign a free agent, or look in-house to fill the void in center field."

Really? So you're saying the Twins will have a center fielder in 2008? That's reporting at its finest!
